shannonjpower
Hi, Whilst removing my Corsair Link over to another case I accidentally damaged the cable that runs from the Link to the LED controller etc. 2 of the pins have come out of the small plastic end connector. The very left hand one and the also the second from the left (pins 1 and 2 highlighted in the diagram). Can someone please confirm that the pin layout is the same at both ends as shown in the diagram? As in pin 1 goes in the same spot in the opposite connector and so on without any wires crossing over? http://i66.tinypic.com/33uzt51.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/21en9s2.jpg I'd love to try the Link again after sitting unplugged for all these years. Thankyou.
red-ray
I'd love to try the Link again after sitting unplugged for all these years. Yes, I confirm you are correct. What CL hardware do you have? CL4 does not support the old Link Commander.
shannonjpower
Ouch well that puts a damper on things. I have the original release Link, cooling node and lighting node. It's been sitting unplugged in my system for a couple of years now. Guess it's a no go  Thank you for confirming that for me tho, much appreciated. red-ray
Ouch well that puts a damper on things. This is what I guessed and I feel for CL4 not to support the old commander is rather poor. In my SIV utility the extra code needed to support the old commander is < 30 lines of C and I just can't understand why CL4 does not support it .
