LazyPyro
Hi all, I've been helping a friend build her first PC as she's never built one before and we went with a h115 for cooling. It's doing its job (pump and fans are working) but her system is not actually recognising the device, even Corsair Link does not show it. The LED light is also not working, she says it did briefly flash on once but doesn't even work at all now. She'd love to have the LED working and be able to change the colour to match the rest of her hardware. Her motherboard has two USB2 headers, we've tried the USB cable in both but neither make any difference. And the headers themselves are confirmed working fine btw because we tested her case's USB2 ports in them and they worked, it's just the h115 that doesn't work no matter which we try it in. So since we know the motherboard headers are operating well, does this suggest a faulty USB cable? Or is something else the problem here? If it is the cable, will Corsair support send her a replacement?
