jrwininger
Are there any recommendations on a good tool kit for bending/preparing ends of hard tubing?
Zotty
Hi Bud... you would certainly be wanting a fine toothed Saw for cutting it and some fine sandpaper for smoothing off those rough edges cutting left... As for bending. heat gun would be what you want.. as for Mandrels (the 'Form' used to create the angle you need) loads to be found online... and lastly you would need a silicon tube insert to stop the tube deforming/collapsing when you bend it... jrwininger
Is a chamfer tool really necessary?
Hockster2
Probably. I don't want glass burrs in my cooling system.
jrwininger
Probably. I don't want glass burrs in my cooling system. I ask because some people say that sand paper is all that’s needed.
Zotty
Assuming you are going for Corsair tubing... chamfer tool and acrilic tubing don't go so will together. Sand paper is recommended imho....
