How can I change the hardware lighting? I can not select an LED or change the brightnes.

You can click (for single select), control-click (for multiple select), or drag around (for multiple select).

Brightness is in settings. Or you can add a layer on top that's black with an opacity.

I can only change this with the case lighting.

But not with hardware lighting

 

If the icue is not running then all LEDs will light up brightly.

Hardware lighting is per channel and much more limited than the software lighting. For that, you should be able to change the brightness in settings. Alternatively, you can use the color slider to get a less-bright color. For example, instead of white (255,255,255), use grey (128,128,128).

Unfortunately, there's a limit to what can be done in hardware.

With Corsair-LINK I can adjust this as I want,

just not with the iCUE.

You can do this in iCUE as well. Go to Settings. Click on the Device. Brightness is there.

The brightness does not change there and when I finish iCUE all the LEDs light up again

With Corsair-LINK I can select and save all LEDs
