Signore
Hi there, first timer here. So, to the point: I've bought another ASUS motherboard (my fault) and, with that mobo I've bought a 16GB kit : CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9 (my fault). Since my mobo keeps saying that my memory is 1333Ghz and I can see only 12Gb I grow furious (my fault) and start looking everywhere for "truth". So, it turns up that this lovely kit is designed for Intel Quad Channel, while the ASUS motherboard is an AMD two channel (hey guys, it's not my fault if I don't keep me busy reading tons of specifics... sure is it's last time I buy AMD and ASUS). So, I can't return the memory, my reseller doesn't have dual channel kit, so, there is a way to configuring this kit on my CrossHair V Formula ? Thanks! :p:
Wired
There is no such thing as Dual Channel memory, as this is a property of the memory controller in how it handles memory. This is why you can place memory in different slot configurations on a motherboard and it will register as single or dual channel. In otherwords, they should work just fine. Test one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+.
