Nexxsys
Thought I would come to the experts and ask. Does it really matter if I buy two 2X4 GB Kits of DDR3-1600 or one 4X4 GB Kit for my P8Z68-V Pro / Gen 3 motherboard? I have heard you should buy a kit, I have always bought pairs with no issues, but wanted to be sure I wasn't just lucky.
HOODedAssault
Id go with 4x4gb kit hands down... There tested together so minimizes the risk of having issues.
Wired
It's never recommended to buy two kits as there's no way to guarantee that they'll work together. Always buy ONE kit which contains the memory you want.
