rafac2
Hello guys, I just bought a K63 wireless keyboard. I used for 2 days the keyboard with the firmware 1.01 and I had no problems, that I noticed. I upgraded the firmware to the version 1.02 and now my keyboard is losing the signal from the receiver in a distance no longer than 2 meters. It only works if I stay very close, like 40 cm. Is there anything that I can do to boost the signal? thank you!
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted March 13, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 13, 2018 When you performed the firmware update, did you place the dongle in a different location? What happens if you place the dongle in a different port if you didn't before?
rafac2
Hello.. No, when I updated the firmware, I plugged the usb cable and the dongle on the same port. If I try to use the dongle in a different usb port, the result is the same.
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted March 13, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 13, 2018 Try performing a force firmware update in the Global Settings, and make sure to unplug the keyboard and power cycle it after the update completes.
