leadtheway
I have an AX750 paired with an Asus Sabertooth 990fx R2.0. couple nights ago i replaced a chassis fan. No issues..put computer to sleep and next day came back and the power light blinking on case. couldn't get it to come on for anything.. look at the mobo and there is a power light on it, so i assume the PSU is ok. I unplug everything and try to jump start it with paperclip on 3 and 4 on the top row..came on for a second and moved it around and tried again and couldn't get it to come on. Plug back into mobo and the light on the board lights up. Tried to jumper the power switch pins on board and nada. Is there a good way to test the AX750 that I'm not doing? Also, what is the direct replacement for it...looks like its not made anymore. Thanks in advance
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted June 2, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 2, 2018 Unplug everything from that board. There is a short somewhere.
leadtheway
You mean all the cards and drives etc? I took the psu out of the case when testing and just plugged in the 24 pin cable. So you think a short is coming from power supply causing the pc not to power?
