Wired
You need to overclock your CPU to allow the memory to run at 2000 MHz.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 1, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 1, 2011 And the I950's have not shown to be able to over clock that well, and as Wired stated you may have to over clock it to get much more than DDR1600 on the memory and I expect it will top out about DDR1700 to DDR1866 from what I have seen in the past. marduk123
ok but ... im already at 4ghz as i stated :) and as well, i get those blue screen when i am running them at 1600... i dont really care about going higher, as it doesnt really make a big difference thanks
marduk123
yeah just got the blue screen again...... and processor at 4ghz... memory at 1600mhz... all i want its to be stable help me please....
raven49
all i want its to be stable help me please.... First thing I would recommend is loading Default Settings in BIOS and see if you still get blue screens. If you do, clear CMOS by removing the battery. Start with basic setting and get your system stable before OCing. By doing this you eliminate some possible causes. When you get a blue screen, what error message do you get? raven49
Just reread the thread title. Have you tried defragmenting?
marduk123
Just reread the thread title. Have you tried defragmenting? i will now i did set everything to normal yesterday in bios it seems allright atm but memory is at 1280mhz it seems allright but, i may have problems again, and 1280mhz is bit low for my system i will edit this post with more information :) thanks for helping
raven49
I wouldn't worry about memory speed right now. Getting your system stable and error free is much more important! Since your system appears to be stable at the moment, now would be a good time to start testing. Memtest through at least four passes, and Prime95 in blend mode. Could you post images of CPU-Z's cpu and memory tabs so we'll have your current system settings for reference.

raven49
Hi marduk123, Haven't forgot about you, been thinking about where to go from here. Please correct me if I miss anything. When you are NOT OC'ed, your system seems stable and passes the tests but memory speed is 1280. You have defragmented you hard drive. Have you ran Error Checking on your hard drive? Have you tried enabling XMP when not OC'ed? When you OC, you get blue screens. When your OC'ed and not playing a game, do you always get the same blue screem error message? When you system blue screened while playing a game, you said it was different. What was it? And were you OC'ed? Also, when you get a blue screen, there will be a series of numbers at the bottom. for example: 0x0000007a. These can help narrow down what ever is causing the problem. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 5, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 5, 2011 I am sorry but I cannot help you with the O.C. but I would load setup defaults and then enable XMP and DO NOT Over Clock and test the system again.
marduk123
124 was 1 of the error code so i put more voltage in qpi pll and xmp profile doesnt work at all ( i load default setup... ) it doesnt boot with it i gotta reset cmos :( and i had that 124 error code even with default settings thanks for your help
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 6, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 6, 2011 When you enable XMP what does it set the CPU/QPI Voltage to? For the CPU you have the Max is 1.45 Volts and look and see if you have an option for Profile 2 if so try Profile 2. I would also try and enable XMP but set the memory frequency manually to DDR1600 and see if it will post.

Batiatus
Try to set QPI/VTT voltage manually to 1.35v and run the memory @ 1600Mhz with 1.6v to 1.65v DRAM voltage
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 6, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 6, 2011 I agree with Batiatus, on your system the memory controller voltage setting is called QPI/VTT and the Max I would use with that CPU is 1.45 Volts but please try what we suggested and let us know! Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 7, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 7, 2011 More then likely the settings are too aggressive for the current configuration. Try and lower the memory frequency.
AbigailVaughan6
This problem can be caused by several causes. The most normal thing is that if you have a peer memory, if you have a colleague, ask for a memory module to discard it. It can also be caused by the hard disk controller (how many do you have?), You should reinstall the driver that comes in the xp (or your operating system). follow the steps in the below document to make sure that all the hardware components on the computer are working fine. https://www.errorsolutions.tech/error/kernel-data-inpage-error/ Solution 1.Test Hard disk drive (HDD) Solution 2.Test Random-access memory (RAM)
