DarkCowMoo
Hey there, So I bought a 3 pack of the 120LL with the lightning pro node and I am having few difficulties- hopefully someone might help me out. I connected the 3 fans to the FAN HUB and the FAN HUB to the RGB Lightning Pro Node. Than the Node connect to Sata Power and a USB port for which I used a F USB on the motherboard. I have two main problems with this setup- 1. The fan LED stays on even when the computer is off, maybe due to the fact that the F USB on the motherboard still powers the Node even when the computer is off. 2. I can't seem to figure out how to sync the fans with the Gigabyte fusion utility. I can control the LED just fine using the Link software, although Gigabyte fusion does not seem to recognize the Node (not sure if it should). Thanks again
Corsair Employee Corsair Jam Posted January 26, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 26, 2019 Hello, It may be related to some Bios setting. Have you spoke with Gigabyte by chance? They may be able to pinpoint what exactly is going on.
DevBiker
It's not being powered by the F USB on the motherboard; USB doesn't have enough power to light the LEDs (first) and second, the power for the fans comes from the fan hub, not the LNP.
