Blofeld2k
Hello, I’m planning a new build based on the “Asus Sabertooth P67 B3” motherboard. My question is if a quad channel memory kit will work well with this motherboard? Specifically I’m looking at CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9G and to run this in dual channel. As far as I can tell it should work, but just want to be sure. Thank you in advance.
JustinHEMI
Will one of the "quad channel" kits just released for the LGA2011 mobo's work on the 1155 sandy bridge mobo's? I think so, I just want to be sure. Thanks.
Wired
There is no such thing as Dual / Triple / Quad Channel memory, as this is a property of the memory controller in how it handles memory. This is why you can place memory in different slot configurations on a motherboard and it will register as single or dual or triple or quad channel. In otherwords, yes, it'll work just fine.
