IBIubbleTea
So Im planning on getting these fans for my rad but I cant really decide which to get. I have asked some people on which one to get, some have said to get the quiet ones and others have said to get the performance ones. Should I get the Performance and just turn down the rpm or just get the quiet and not touch anything with my motherboard. Thanks.

IBIubbleTea
get the performance, turn em down and have the power if you ever need it What about the af fans. Should I get 140 quiet or performance for the front and back. Case is Air 540. I would get 3 120 for the front but the mobo only has 3x4pins fan. wytnyt
since theres little resistance then the quiet fans will work just fine...
mob bob
Hi guys, I was also thinking to go for the sp120 quiet editions for a 360 rad corsair t Corsair don't do the 140mm in the sp edition ?
IBIubbleTea
since theres little resistance then the quiet fans will work just fine... Hey I have I more question. This is what Im planning on doing with my cooling. Back case fan. AF140 Quiet RAD 4 SP120 High Performance Front 2 AF140's Quiet or 3 AF120's Quiet, What is the better option? 2 140 or 3 120? Going for less noise, looks and good airflow.
wytnyt
as a rule 140 mm fans put out less noise and still have good airflow...
IBIubbleTea
as a rule 140 mm fans put out less noise and still have good airflow... So getting the 2 140's are better then 3 120's?

Wam7
yes it is less noise and in most cases better airflow...For Radiators it's not about airflow but static pressure - 120mm fans give more static pressure than 140mm ones.
