Default Memtest fails with XMP enabled.

New build with a 8600k, Asus z370-P mobo and CMK16GX4M2A2666C16 RAM.

Running memtest86 or HCI memtest with XMP enabled returns numerous errors. This is the case for each slot and each RAM stick. With XMP disabled and 1 stick installed it runs fine, without errors. The problem is that it will not boot with two sticks installed (without XMP).

Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Xerra,

Have you checked to make sure that you are on the latest BIOS? Do both sticks fail memtest at XMP separately? If so, you may want to try reseating your CPU.
