MadMetalGuy
Hey everybody i have a Corsair H80i and my case does not have an opening to use a USB port in the back and would be VERY inconvenient to have to do that here are my specs: Fractal Define R4 Case Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 MOBO AMD FX-8350 at 4.4Ghz Corsair H80i So my issue is that windows sees the device but says "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" now its plugged up to a USB header that is controlled by the AMD Chipset and it DID WORK at one point until i updated the Firmware then rebooted and it never recognized it again unless i use a USB port but i want to use my Headers as a random cord hanging out of my computer is very ugly and inconvenient to carry with ive tried older versions of Corsair LINK and ive used CCleaner to fix any registry errors or missing DLLs Any one have any ideas? red-ray
it DID WORK at one point until i updated the Firmware I expect the firmware update failed and bricked the device and suspect you will have to RMA it. Have a look at: http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133118&highlight=h80i+bricked http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128930&highlight=h80i+bricked
