James Dean
Scenario: I currently have a P4 2.4Ghz 533FSB which of course calls for DDR333. I'd like to invest in some good Corsair memory now, but "be ready" for a CPU upgrade later (3.0Ghz 800 or higher). Can I today use TWINX512-3200? Is it ok to "underclock" DDR? CandyKid
Welcome to the forums, James Dean! Yes, PC3200 modules will underclock to PC2700 (DDR333) speeds. PLUR CK BTW, if you want to be "ready" for the future, I'd reccommend a TwinX set of at least 1Gb, rather than one module of only 512Mb.
