how did he make a one button macro / text to say good game?

the software only lets me do a text or macro i cant combine the two together for a single key press

example: macro: y - text: good game

i wanted to know how to do this
so i can type to my team mates super quick and let them know how much damage i did to another guy

It was a macro sequence with delays by recording keystrokes. You would create a delay between 5-10ms and then type "y, g o o d g a m e, enter and stop recording.
