Same for me. Force 3 CSSD-F120GB3-BK 113903007 W7 64b, 8 GB RAM. Last firmware.
Screen freeezes about once by day.
Very annoying.
I didn't see if led was blinking.
I didn't buy a SSD drive for REINSTALLING W7 and loosing so much time!
And I tested my ram for hours ==> RAM OK.

For people having this freezing issue. I had a similar problem. I just purchased the Force 3 120GB in the last week and all I've had is issue's with it.

However... I was able to find a fix for this specific issue... Thanks to google searching for over 3 days.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2575077

I installed this fix... And for 48hrs I haven't had a hiccup at all.

Now just have to figure out why I'm getting only 220mb/s reads and 86mb/s write speeds.......

I hope that Corsair read al of this now, en stick there heads out of the sand.

bhhurdler1, I will look if it works, but I am afraid that the Firmware is the problem.
But maybe just maybe this is what we are looking for, then you ar my Lifesaver :)

Hmm. I wonder why it's working for me. The drive still hasn't froze since I installed that hotfix..

I was hoping it would help some of you out.. But nothing can be easy anymore.. :-(

This fix from Microsoft corrects some freezes that arise from deadlock situations inside Windows. It is not intended for (and neither does) correcting timeout errors while accessing SSDs from Corsair.
This could only be fixed by updating the sata interface either from the systems BIOS or from the ssd firmware.
I'm not sure which one is to blame but it will be in the interests of Corsair to get rid of this because otherwise people will go and buy their next drives from other companies (like I am doing now).
I think they are already working on this issue but it is quite normal to tell people that there is no problem and that you are the only one etc. They are playing for time with requesting RMA's and secure erases and memtests.... And all of a sudden they have a solution for a problem that never existed :-)
We can't do anything than wait and keep others informed that there are problems with these Force3 drives at the moment.

Happy New Year
Chris

Hi,

I´ve searched on google and Í´ve found informations, that the problem happens with other ssd-brands like OCZ.

But the new OCZ firmware is better and the freezes didn´t happen again.

So please update the firmware corsair...

Is there any information about a new firmware for corsair force 3???
