Dillinja187 Posted February 20, 2018 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Hi, I just wanted to know if the h150i can be run with the usb cable detached ?, at the moment it is running fine with said usb cable plugged in (normal orientation) but I need to turn the pump/coldplate 90 degrees counterclocker wise so I can have the mass of cables the h150i comes with running straight up and over the top side of the mother board but in doing that the usb is at the bottom and its just gunna look straight up ugly :(, I understand I will have no control over the rgb function if I remove this cable but is it a problem if it is not plugged in at all ? Also will the pump/coldplate just revert to stock behaviour as in cycling colours or will it hold the last rgb setting I have set? many thanks for your time Dillinja Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DevBiker Posted February 20, 2018 Share Posted February 20, 2018 It will work ... you won't have monitoring or control. It will use the default settings. However, you can write your own custom settings to the cooler. Just set it up, then go to Options ... Devices and click "Use Current settings as Default" under the device.
