XP software/driver for TRIM support?

Surprisingly, I can't find a post that addresses this question directly so I am asking it.

At least one other manufactures of SSDs also provides some software to give TRIM support under XP. Does Corsair have such software or are there third parties that do this?

Otherwise, I would think that it would be advised not to run under XP and to upgrade to Win 7.

This is for an netbook application and the machine is underpowered as it is so I would rather stick with XP since it consumes less resources than W7.

Unfortunately, Corsair doesn't have such software to do this.

Windows 7 is recommended for an SSD as the installer configures Windows during the installation. But if that isn't possible you can use XP but you need to manually align the partition and change some settings in XP such as Disk Defrag.

Windows XP does not support TRIM only Windows 7 or newer has support for TRIM, but the garbage collection can in most cases maintain the drive. Or you can use a program like Diskeeper Professional with Hypefast Technology to maintain drive performance.
