What is the fanless wattage threshold for the new SF600 Platinum SFX PSU?

Up to 240W, but that's assuming ambient temperature of 25°C.

Naturally, since this PUS is more efficient than the Gold version, it should run cooler and therefore the fan should not start as soon as our previous SF600.

Wow that's a steep increase from the 130W of previous PSU:s.

Obviously you're an authoritative source in this question.

Right, for driving Akitio Node Pro with a Vega 64 for office/web use, we'll simply need to see if the fan will spin or not, as I'm not sure about exact watt consumption and operating temperature yet. But the higher the fanless threshold obviously, and this is a great increase. I'll report the experience later.

Thanks for clarifying!
