Default H100i Pro - Asus Mobo Disable Q-Fan control

Hi all,

New build in progress and I have quick question in regards to disabling Q-Fan control on the H100i Pro (searched for around 30 mins but did't find a definitive answer). As I'm using the Pro (which uses SATA power) and not the V2, do I still need to disable Q-Fan control? I'm also going to presume as the power is via SATA that I do not need to change the CPU fan header to 100%/full power?

Thanks in advance!

You do not need to disable Q-Fan control for the Pro series coolers.

That is what I presumed. Thank you for the quick response!

DevBiker, I'd also like to thank you for your excellent posts throughout this forum! Between yourself and Zotty, you have made my last few weeks of build planning, research and ultimately the final build (almost done) so much easier with your wealth of product knowledge. Thanks again!
