dienalplz
Hello, greeting from South Korea. I am a big corsair fan and I have a suggestion to make concerning the korean font used in mechanical keyboard sold in here. First of all, my English is not good, so please bare with me. I asked TIMU (sole distributor of Corsair products in s.korea) about this, and they answered it is up to Corsair. They said they can't do anything about it, so I post this here. I am very active in keyboard online community of s.korea and k70,k95,k65 are one of the most popular models among high-end users(k70 is around $180 and out of stock and k95 too). However, the majority people are not happy with Korean font used in corsair keyboards because that font is very old fashioned. It is called Koong-Seo font which no one really use it except some old people when they calligraphy. No keyboard company use it except corsair as far as I know. Sometimes, it is treated as some joke in online community (this font is so serious lol or are they kidding me? using this old font? like that) As you see the pictures, English font in corsair keyboard (century gothic font? I guess?) is non serif, and Koong-Seo font is serif. They just don't go together in my opinion, and they look really awkward together. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ft9vnikp1k54ngn/koonseo%20font1.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/7k694oqcxynqjgl/koonseo%20font3.jpg One of the main reasons why I post this is that I am eager to buy future corsair RGB model as soon as they come out. Many korean buyers including me are worrying that it will use that serious old font again, so I'd like to ask corsair about this in advance and please consider to change it to nice and neat one. (just like century gothic font which I LOVE) Here are some samples :::: all fonts are free to use individually or commercially, domestically or internationally There are a lot of korean fonts available but I introduce few popular ones. seoul namsan font https://www.dropbox.com/s/oack4k1kemom659/seoul-namsan%20font.jpg nanum gothic https://www.dropbox.com/s/kk683ae6s5cahlo/nanum%20gothic.jpg nanum barum gothic https://www.dropbox.com/s/q4oovdk1s4acytk/nanum%20barun%20gothic.jpg daum gothic https://www.dropbox.com/s/g4em443bqgflbjy/daum%20gothic.jpg Also, another thing , we only have cherry Red switch product available in s.Korea. Does corsair have any plan to expand product line including Blue and Brown swithces too? I am very positive those will be popular just as red switch model is. I hope I can meet those great products in the future. I really appreciate that you read this post and hope to hear from you soon.
