Agent PMC
I've just recently purchased an H115i CPU water cooler and have a question about the hook-ups. What is the SATA cable for that comes off the pump, and where does it plug-in? I've heard it goes to the power supply, and if so, do I have to go out and buy an adapter for it? The instructions fail to even mention the SATA cable. I would totally just call Corsair, but it's the weekend.
c-attack
Yes, the SATA cable supplies the power to the cooler and fans, if those are run from the pump block. The 3 pin that connects to the board is a sensor only. Check your power supply bag to see if there are any SATA cables to connect from the PSU to the H115 cable. Many PSUs have double or triple SATA connectors on the same line, so you may be able to piggy back off a drive cable that is already installed. And yes, the instructions fail to mention this aspect at all.
