RAMee
Hello, I am searching for a 16GB (4 x 4GB) quad channel PC3-12800 SODIMM kit. On the Corsair main website, I searched for the reference CMSX16GX3M4A1600C9 but it does not seem to exist. And, as I prefer not to buy two Corsair Vengeance 8GB sets (CMSX8GX3M2A1600C9) because of the issues that may occur when mixing modules from different kits, I would like to know if Corsair is planning to release a 16GB (4 x 4GB) quad channel DDR3 1600Mhz SODIMM kit. Thanks a lot, in advance, for your answer!
Wired
They never comment on rumors or unreleased products. Having said that, a quick look on NewEgg shows no 4x4 GB SODIMM kits by any manufacturer.
RAMee
Hello Wired, Thank you for your answer! They never comment on rumors or unreleased products. I please you to forgive me, I did not know... So, I guess that I just need to wait for news about some new SODIMM kits. But, if we -can not/do not want to- wait until then and we use two 2x4GB sets instead, is there a way to check efficiently that they are working properly (Memtest or other softwares)? Thanks again!
