Janko_Lj
Hi, I have Asus P7P55D-E PRO MOBO and today I purchased CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 (16 GB RAM). I installed it and 16 GB are visible in BIOS and Windows 7 x64. So far so good. But, when I ran CPU-Z I noticed that DRAM Frequency is 802,5 MHz (On Memory tab) and "Max. Bandwidth" on SPD tab is "PC3-10700H (667 MHz). I upgraded BIOS to the most recent version and enabled XMP, but no improvement. In BIOS the RAM is recognized as 1600 MHz. I expected RAM to work at 1600 MHz in Windows and to have Max. Bandwith value of PC3-12800 (1600 MHz). What is wrong? How to achieve 1600 MHz? Anyone? Thx;):
Yellowbeard
CPU-Z shows DDR memory at its actual frequency. DDR1600 = 800Mhz. Your memory is running fine.
