Check for a newer BIOS and see if that helps. If nit is not available i would contact ASUS. 2 i have 8 gb of ram a kit of 2x4 gb corsair now i have brougt a kit of 16 gb corsair ram cml 16gx3m4a1600c9 i have plugged them in at starts up i never mede it to windows the system freezes all the time what could be wrong and must i do something in bios Rest your CMOS, then install just one stick and see if it will post. If it will let you into the BIOS load set-up defaults and then enable XMP. See if it will boot to windows normally. If so shut down and add the other stick. Restart the machine. And it may be best to run through memtest one stick at a time if you can get it to post with one stick installed. If you need memtest, there is a link on the left side of the forums to grab it.
