Default a question.

hi. i am using QX6700 on striker extrem with 2GB corsair 6400C4DHX and will add another pair soon to make it 4GB . im just wondering i have tried 5-5-5-15 2T 2.0 volts and 4-4-4-12 2T 2.1 volts they both make my CPU from 2.66 to 2.93 . i though i was overclocking the Ram not CPU. why? and could you tell me which setting faster or is there any better and stable solution avalible? i just want to overclock it faster. thanks

Can you tell me the exact settings you had set? With over clocking just set the Voltage to 2.1 Volts and let the timings be done by SPD and see how high you can get the system stable with www.memtest.org.
