Hi i have having some problem with the Corsair Link and H100i with the Commander mini and Airflow Led Fan. I plugged everything in the right way.

I have plugged the small connactor in to the H100i like the Tech guy said from COrsair but for some reason it does not detect my H100i now and fans at the Top. So i unplugged the splitter on that came with the H100i and used the connectors from the commander mini two hook up to the fans up top on the radiator of the H100i. So i unplugged the small connector and likly i had another USB 2.0 on my mother broad and plugged back in the one connator on the side of the H100i. Then the Airflow Led Fan I reconnected the 4pin from the CPU fan to the commander mini now all connators from the Commander mini are all used up.

But i really wish i knew why the small connector did not work shown in the screen shot above. Also i I'm having issues with the H100i now with the Led color now when i shuttdown my PC and then start it up again it does not go to red like i have it set to in the Corsair software.

I I'm currently using Windows 8.1 x64

I have tried the regedit stuff and that does not help

Also i have the latest Corsair Link Software installed, And i have tried multiple times reinstalling it that didn't help either

9/30/2014 - Corsair Link Software Update Release Candidate Version 2.7.5361

Somebody here on this forum help me or Corsair tech please need to fix this or help me Please

Thank U

Set Red 255, Green 1 and Blue 1 then it will stay red! It's a firmware bug in the H100i.

Is the issue the CL Hardware or CL Software? Post screen shots as per http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137060 so it's possible to tell.

The Commander Mini should be connected to the USB internal header then the CL cable should connect the Commander mini and the H100i together.

Then you should completely uninstall the CL software and delete the profile folders. Reboot then do a clean install.

To get the panels do Menu->File->Link Devices. Exit CL and the start SIV to get Menu->Tools->Link Status.

I find if SIV reports all the CL hardware then all I need to do to get CL working is exit both SIV and CL, delete the CL profile file, start CL and finally create a new profile.

Yes, but when you use the C-Link cable you MUST unplug the H100i USB cable otherwise strange things will happen.

Please press the [Link Status] button and post the resultant screen shot. The [uSB Bus] panel is also helpful in figuring out some issues.

I see there is a ghost Corsair Integrated USB Bridge device. If you wish to delete it do what https://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539?wa=wsignin1.0 says.

You'll need to do a cold boot to see if it retains the settings...

Looking at [Link Status] there don't seem to be any fans connected to the H100i. Where are the H100i fans connected? If it's the CL Mini the it would be better to connect them to the H100i so you could then easily use the H100i temperature to control their speed?

What fan mode are you using? [Link Fans] will report this for all the fans.
