Cri1654
Hello, my k70 rgb rapidfire has a led flickering problem and when I put a rainbow profile or a profile with animations sometimes some keys flicker to a red colour. I searched about it and other people have this problem. I bought this keyboard because I saw that it had the new RGB controller. Can somebody help me solve this issue? I really want to use animated profiles without the flicker
konrad_
Is it K70 LUX or just K70?

Shinken1
I get the same issue on my RapidFire but it just seems to be the S key. Haven't been able to stop it
Toasted
Tried lowering the polling rate of the keyboard? To lower the polling rate, use the switch at the front of the keyboard. Every keyboard after the first K70 and K95 RGB (2014) will have an updated controller.
Cri1654
changing the polling rate doesnt change anything
Cri1654
I saw in other threads that the rapidfire model has the new rgb controller. I don't know what to do now. My motherboard (msi) doesn't even have the drivers for the usb controller 3.0 that are compatible windows 10.

dtan
Does it still flicker when you uncheck 16.8 Million colour mode in Global Settings for the kb?
Cri1654
The option isn't there because the keyboard has a new rgb controller. Only old keyboard have that option. The thing i don't understand is why does it flicker. I guess it's malfunctioning?

Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted February 13, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 13, 2018 I saw in other threads that the rapidfire model has the new rgb controller. I don't know what to do now. My motherboard (msi) doesn't even have the drivers for the usb controller 3.0 that are compatible windows 10. Which MSI motherboard do you have in your system right now? Do you have both USB cables connected or just one? If you have access to another PC/Laptop, try connecting the keyboard and see if you have the same issue.
