laxswag Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 The bottom bracket does not go through with my Motherboard (MB GIGABYTE|GA-G1.SNIPER Z97 ATX R) And this is really frustrating. It frankly doesn't fit. Anyone know a different bracket I can purchase? I was excited to put my new comp together and now I think I'm screwed here stuck with the stock cooler from intel. snapper69 Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Have you checked that all 4 of the pins on the backplate are lined up exactly? It's easy for one of them to move slightly. Also check that the notches on the backplate are lined up correctly with the screws on the back of the motherboard. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
