junemoore Posted June 20, 2017 Share Posted June 20, 2017 I currently have 16GB of Ram. The manufacturer and pn are in my profile. I have tried other memory and the rig is not stable. I am technically challenged. Current memory is 1.65V Timing 9-9-9-24. Which is the most important to match for stability or does it not matter. Something matters because the last higher performance DDR3 I purchased was not stable. All help will be appreciated. Can someone tell me if either of these memory kits would work? c-attack Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Are you trying to match two different kits? I would not recommend this if you consider yourself to be technically challenged. I am not and combing mixed sets is still risky and tedious at best. Are you asking which of those two would work on your machine? Those are two very different kits and I am not sure how the 2x4GB kits fits your objective. You can check the compatibility list from your motherboard product page for the 32GB kit, although that is not exhaustive. You may also want to wait it out.
