Fofilet
Hi I saw today a strange white paste in my PSU. Looking closer, I think it's a black component (see the arrow on the photo) which has exploded... But my PSU is still working :!: I don't know when it happened as it's not out of order... I bought it only 2 months ago. It's a TX750M. Can I continue to use it ? Is there any fire risk ? Is warranty cover that default ? Thanks
Administrators Technobeard Posted May 9, 2018 Administrators Share Posted May 9, 2018 It's there on purpose. Nothing exploded. It gets put around various items to wick away heat and reduce vibrations.
Fofilet
Thanks :) In fact, there was an optical effect which was given the impression the component has exploded, but with more light, I saw the paste have been added on it and didn't come from the inside. What a fear ! And... how didn't I see it before ? :!::!::!::!: Thanks again.
