Bloo Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 I'm installing the h100i GTX cooler onto my AMD motherboard/ processor. But I cannot for the life of me get the Intel mounting bracket to come off of the pump. The manual says to press down on the Intel mounting bracket, and turn 1/8 clockwise to remove the Intel mounting bracket. But I cannot press the Intel bracket down any further than where it already sits and I cannot twist it in any direction for removal. I've tried twisting it so hard that the metal bracket is almost cutting into my skin. I fear that pressing any harder will lead to damaging the cooler. Am I missing something obvious here?
