masternandi12
Hi everybody. I bought a new H60. The Problem is it is very load. I stopped all coolers exept of one silent which is at the radiator. The pump is the loudest object in my computer. It is like a fan. A bit higher. But it is the PUMP! Its working with 12V like told. Sometimes the sound stops and its switches silent. But after 2 seconds it gets loud again. Is it ok if i placed it with the pipes down? or is that the reason. Should i reduse the speed with BIOS and put the powercable on the mainboard. Is this sound normal cause it is said that you shouldnt hear it outside your case? Help me please. Should i send it back? Help me please
masternandi12
Synthohol
can you post a pic of the inside of your case?
masternandi12
current is coming from the mainboard now. The pump is running with 3400 RPM. (speedfan) . Is that ok? Its silent now. Is it ok running it like that for longer time or will it take damage? The temperature are 5 ° higher now but thats ok for me. Main point its silent. idel.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 3, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 3, 2011 I would suggest running the pump at full speed all the time more then likely it has some air trapped in the pump causing cavitation, try and move the system in another orientation while it running and yes please post a pic of the inside of your case. masternandi12
The pumpw as runnig fullspeed lying on the side more than once!. masternandi12
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 4, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 4, 2011 I would try and rotate the cooler 180 Deg so the hoses are on the top and see if that makes a difference.
masternandi12
it was like that for half a week with the same sound. then i rotated the radiator. Or do you mean the cooler wich is sitting on the cpu?
masternandi12
