BrianSNJ
This is an odd request but I was allowed to before so I am asking again...lol I have a motherboard that is not compatible with CM2X1024-6400C4DHX 4-4-4-12 2.10v ram. I would like to know if I can swap these perfectly functional RAM modules for CM2X1024-6400C5DHX 5-5-5-18 1.80v? Originally I had bought 2 pairs of CM2X1024-6400C4DHX for a total of 4GB. Last year, I was allowed to swap 2GB for 2GB of CM2X1024-6400C5DHX. AWESOME treatment of the customer and why I keep buying Corsair year after year. So, now I am upgrading this motherboard to Windows 7 64bit as a spare pc for the kids and want to bump up the RAM from 2GB to 4GB. I have the old 6400C4DHX and they will just go to waste or gather dust and I will have to buy more ram and at today's prices...that would not be worthwhile! lol I hope Corsair can come through once again for me. THANKS!!!!
