fbmbirds
Hello, So my computer started shutting off and when it turns back on I get a Asus Anti Surge protection message so I figured it was because of my power supply. I logged back into my computer fired up a benchmark/stress test program and monitored my 12 volt rail. Would the voltage be anything to be concerned about or should I just turn off the ASUS Anti Surge protection feature and keep using this power supply? Attached is my HWmonitor. http://i64.tinypic.com/r8c9z9.png
c-attack
You can’t really take software derived voltage readings as solid fact, but that is way too low for my comfort level. A 1200i should not be dipping that low and certainly not at what appears to be a relatively low watt load. Sadly the standard troubleshooting response is to swap in a different PSU, which many people don’t have. I would contact Corsair Tech Support through the ticket system and see what they say (if you haven’t already). The sub-11 notch on the 12v line makes we want to replace it soon. Corsair Employee Corsair Mint Posted June 27, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 27, 2018 Hi fbmbirds, I agree with c-attack, we really only allow them to have a fluctuation of 5%, this is a bit beyond that, definitely put in a ticket with support. http://support.corsair.com
