taylorhawkins
Hi I had a VS2GB1333D3 ram stick earlier on ASUS P8H67 M-LE, and later added the other VS2GB1333D3 stick, bought after. The thing that stumps me is that even though both have same timings, their TRFC values are diff in BIOS one is 107 and other is 74 Is this ok? can two ram sticks of same model and brand have diff trfc values or was I sold a defective ram module?? Also in bios the product code of the stick added after is VS2GB1333D4. Please help, thanks
Synthohol
mixing ram kits even the same part# is not advised, see the 2 links below for a technical explanation. the chips could have come from 2 different batches/lots/BOM so it is suggested to purchase a single set of ram in tha capacity you want from 1 package. that being said if its stable dont worry about it :):
