tennengr Posted December 9, 2018 Share Posted December 9, 2018 I plan to purchase the Crystal series 460X RGB case and either an RM550x or RM650x power supply. I would like to use the 2 shrouds that come with the case for covering the power supply and the hard drive. The case will be on a desk top (not a rug) so I am not concerned about the position of the power supply. Should the power supply be positioned with the fan down with the shroud in place? It would seem that fan up with shroud in place has a tough time pulling inside air. If I have 6 case fans (3 front pulling in, 1 back & 2 top exhausting) do I need power supply face down to have more air coming in than going out?
