Hudson Gustav Posted January 1, 2004 Share Posted January 1, 2004 I recently purchesed a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard and a retail set of Corsair XMS TWINX1024-3200C2PRO memory modules. I have read some reviews of fellow A7N8X-E buyers that also use higher end memory in their systems complaining that the board was running their memory at slower then advertised speeds. After they fixed their memory settings in the BIOS they were a little more relaxed in the decision to purchase the lower latency memory. My question is I see all these CAS latency numbers, on my memory it is "2-3-3-7-T1". What are these numbers? And how do they relate to the following memory settings shown in the image below, or do they (RAS, RCD, RP, SDRAM Active precharge delay, SDRAM RAS precharge delay, and CAS latency)?
