Xolramuh
Hey, I've had my Corsair Raptor HS40 wired headset for about 6 months now, and I use them a lot. They've been great so far, and I have no complaints. Last night I was laying down watching Netflix (I use my headset to watch TV so I don't disturb my roommates) and I noticed that when I have them on and I put a small amount of pressure on the outside of the right earpiece that it makes a crackling noise. It's not audio crackling, but it sounds like crackling from inside the hardware itself. When I put my hand between my ear and the earpiece and put pressure it doesn't make the noise. I've tried several times to recreate the crackling noise with out having the headset on but nothing. I actually don't know what's going on because I've taken great care of them, so there's no reason for them to be broken. Any suggestions or help? Toasted
I don't have a HS40 to try but it will be best to contact Corsair and see what they suggest/say about your problem. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
