Unable to identify proper/matching Corsair 5.24 update file?

My Corsair Force GS 360 GB drive has 5.07 firmware now.

I noticed you list the latest version for it as 5.24 now.

However, the Adobe PDF instructions seem to mention the correct firmware file must be chosen. And, I do not see a matching file name to choose from?

The tool lists my Corsair SSD's code as: 22981.

And all firmware files start with: 27, not 22.

Any idea why?

Using the above Corsair SSD as main OS drive, OS is Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate SP1, all updates installed.

Install the SSD toolbox to check for firmware updates.

 

Please note that not all Force GS drives have an update at this time. As more are released, the download file will be updated.

I already have that tool, but it says my 5.07 firmware is latest.

When does/will my 360 GB Corsair SSD get the 5.24 firmware upgrade?

If you need the first part of the serial number or any other extra info, please tell me.

I am worrying anyway. :biggrin: I like my software/firmware to be latest and greatest. :winking:

I have the same SSD and the same problem. I'm even stuck on 5.05A. Although my drive is functioning, I do hope we 360GB GS owners don't miss out on performance improvements that might come with these firmware updates.

Yeah, me too! Any update on this, Corsair, please? I have TWO such 360GB drives, and in the future I will think twice before buying a Corsair SSD ever again, it seems.
