devinyu
I just couldn't make it work, i can't boot from a USB hard drive(maybe it's just because i didn't make the DOS right) and i found a DOS that i can burn into CD, so i put the lower32.exe in the CD with the DOS. I booted from it and started the lower32.exe but although i can see my drive with DOS but not the firmware. I have a DELL XPS 1530 and wondering if anyone have the same laptop had succeeded updating? Stewart1
Something like this happened to me on one of my many attempts, but I found that if I actually typed lowerXX.exe and hit return, it would run it. Have you tried that?
