X128 with firmware 2.1?

I had to RMA my x128 in late January and the replacement I got already has firmware 2.1 (yet the current released version is 2.0?). I just want to make sure that I have the best available and that I can have TRIM enabled in both my OS and SSD so that I can get the optimal performance.

I ran CrystalDiskMark and got this result:

This SSD is installed in my Alienware M17x laptop with an nvidia chipset so I have the nvidia storage controller driver removed since I heard that it blocks the TRIM functionality - the defauly Microsoft/windows 7 storage driver is in place at the moment. I am using windows 7 professional 64-bit as well. The OS was freshly installed onto the SSD.

What do I need to do to make sure that I have TRIM working? I did the command prompt check and it shows as working and I see it in CrystalDisk Info but my drive when left idle for a few hours does not seem to change the performance results at all. I mainly notice that my write speeds are well below spec

Thanks in advance for any help you give
