elrui
See the link. Thinking about installing this above my DVD drive and moving my ssd and HD up into it thereby completely removing my lower HDD cage and adding another intake fan. Just curious if it will even work in the 5.25 bays. Will replace the fan with a less tacky fan though. Anyone? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817996019
Hyp
Hi I used this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817993002&Tpk=coolermaster%204%20in%203 Mainly because it was the only one I could get in the UK, but it fits perfect. Just remove the crap black front, change the fan to suit yourself, & slide in into the 3 drive bays of your choice.I put a http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-silverstone-1500rpm-fluid-dynamic-bearing-(fdb)-air-penetrator-white-led-case-fan in mine & it works a treat. Hope this helps. Regards. Hyp.
longroadtrip
I have it in my 600t currently. Use it for the extra fan mount. works great! Replaced the fan with a xigmatek clf-f1251 blue led fan (all my fans have been replaced with blue led fans) Here's a pic: http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j391/longroadtrip/IMAG0046.jpg http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j391/longroadtrip/IMAG0043.jpg
weaseled386
Longroadtrip, Is the upper 5.25" slot usable?? That is a super nice setup, but I'd like to retain one DVD writter in my rig!
elrui
Long, Excellent, did it work with the 5.25 clips or did you have to remove them to get it to work?

elrui
No problem! Happy to help! Money pit is definitely no exaggeration, but what a great way to spend it! And ordered. Excellent looking forward to installing this. I also have 2 new yate loon's coming to install on my h60. Going to be a fan party.
longroadtrip
I hear the Yate Loon's are great fans...I went with AP-15's on my H70..Thinking I'll stay with Corsair's fans (great static pressure) on the H100 when it comes out though.

The yate loons were my third option unfortunately. Corsair doesn't sell more of their fans and you can't find scythe anywhere but aquatuning and they cost 18 dollars to ship the thing. I got the 2 yates for 19 with shipping. They are apparently pretty boss fans though with pretty decent static/cfm.
elrui
Yeah that was a really easy install! Ordered one of the Xig grey fans with white led's (didn't want the bright orange throwing off my current motif. Who knows if it is actually running cooler but it ccan't hurt to have more airflow. Moved my HDD and SSD up there too, really opened up the bottom of my case and took some stress off my PSU cords. http://i54.tinypic.com/29fujwp.jpg
longroadtrip
Looks great! Don't know if you are interested, but there is a forum over at Overclock.net that is dedicated to owners of the 600t. Lots of great ideas and mods! Your build would fit in great! http://www.overclock.net/computer-cases/831636-official-corsair-graphite-club.html
Rognin
You can take that little plastic support box at the bottom of the case out. It'd look better imo.
elrui
Good Call, when I take it apart to install my yate loon's I will see about removing it.
longroadtrip
Screws for the plastic riser are on the bottom of the case. You have to remove the front panel to remove all of the screws. Simple enough, but be careful when working the tabs for the front panel. They can break.
elrui
My next quandry is how to set up my new yate loons on my H60 rad. I currently have the 200 front intake, 120 5.25 bay intake, 4 120 side mesh intakes and the h60 blowing intake on my rad. Only exhaust I have is the 200 on top. Wondering if that is enough exhaust for my system especially adding the 2 more high performance yate loons to my rad.....
longroadtrip
Should be fine.. definitely more of a positive airflow situation which is good, helps keep dust out. I would be inclined to run the H60 fans as intake, but you might experiment and see which way gives you better temps.
elrui
Also considering swapping out the top 200 for 2 higher performance 120's. It never ends.....
elrui
Hit a snag, the yate loon's only have molex, no motherboard connectors to speak of. I really do not want these things going 100% all of the time have a feeling it will be fairly loud. Not sure how I am going to hook it up now. Was wanting to use my Y cable to hook both to the Chassis 1 so that my mobo could control voltage to them based on need.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 25, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 25, 2011 You can use a splitter and connect it to the fan controller on the case if you used all the ports, just don't go over 4 Amps total and 1.0 AMP per header. elrui
Heya Ram_Guy, I considered that but my problem is the fans do not have the proper connection. See pic. http://i52.tinypic.com/vy8psg.jpghttp://images.frys.com/art/product/alt_shots/4636178c.jpg that guy is close but I need a female not a male. elrui
Have these guys running straight to my psu currently, kind of loud when squeezed up against the rad, but man at the temperatures. Running an intel burn test at 26c degree's ambient I never break 70c and I am idling at 33-35c. Craziness. 2600k 4.5ghz 1.325 vcore
elrui
I got my 2 adapter cables in from xoxide.com and using my gelid y cable I have these both running off my chassis fan header. It is controlling their rpm's no problem. Nice and quiet at anything under 80% rpm on these fans.
