blackops
I've just completed a build using Corsair CXM Builder series 430W psu, A10 7700K and GA-F2A88XM-D3H motherboard. My system won't wake up from sleep. There is no display, just fans come on. After alot of faffing about, I tried a different brand psu and now it will resume from sleep. The Corsair psu seems otherwise fine. What could be going on?

Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted February 19, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 19, 2015 In your BIOS, under "advanced CPU core features", go to "C6 Mode" and switch it to "disable". Try it again.

Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted February 21, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 21, 2015 Hmm..... What all do you have plugged into the USB that could be using the +5VSB while the PC is asleep?
blackops
Hmm..... What all do you have plugged into the USB that could be using the +5VSB while the PC is asleep? Just keyboard and mouse. System wakes up with both devices but there is no display. Sometimes the case fans stay off, sometimes they don't. I have to force shutdown using power button then disconnect from AC supply. Then all is good again.
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted February 22, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 22, 2015 So the problem could be a crossload that the PSU can't handle when it's coming out of sleep. You're using the on chip graphics, right? Problem is... I can't think of how to fix it.
