PedeB
Hello. I have resently built myself a new computer with the following setup: Corsair RM1000 PSU Asus Rampage V, extreme motherboard i7 5820k, 3,3gHtz, 15mb cache 32 GB DDR4 RAM 2 x GeForce GTX 970 2 x 500 SSD HDs On-board sounds Standard USB mouse & keyboard. My problem is; I havent been able to start up my computer yet. When I press the "start" button, it doesnt start up, but ome up with some-sort-of "click sound". Anyone out there who's tried the same or something similiar? Please help me! :-) - PedeB Edit:( Im not completely sure its the PSU though, but Ive got some years experience in building up computers. Everything should be a check place)

Everything should be a check place) That happened to me when I tried to use one power cord with the Y cable (two plugs on one cord) for my 760 GTX. I had to use two separate power cords. I also had to do the same for SLI, for a total of 4 power cords. Just a thought in case you did the same thing.
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted February 18, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 18, 2015 Test the PSU by itself first: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=63991 The PSU is only going to turn on if: 1. The motherboard tells it it's ok to turn on and 2. There's no faults (short, etc.)
