lindopski
Before I return my RAM to the supplier, I just want to check I am not missing something. I bought a RYZEN5 2400G CPU Gigabyte B450M-DS3H mainboard and CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 - Vengeance LPX Corsair RAM. Looking at the info for everything first, they all supported each other on paper so I sent off for them. The board would not POST however, I breadboarded it and still no dice - ordered a stone age stick of Ballistix DDR4 2400 instead and it fires up straight away, though The GB manual says it supports this RAM from F1 and I am on F2. Is it duff RAM do you think, just wanted to make sure before I return it? Many Thanks
emissary42
Maybe on of the sticks is bad. Test the modules individually and make sure you use the proper memory slot for the tests. If there are still memory settings from your Ballistix in CMOS, also clear it beforehand.
