Controlling System Volume with your M65* (and maybe others)

Hello all,

I threw together this quick IMGUR guide after I found out how to assign System Volume Controls to the extra 2 buttons on my mouse. I'm not sure about anyone else but I always love the convenience of having volume control on my right hand.

Disclaimer: I have used this on Win7 x64, I do not have other Corsair Mice to test this with, or other versions of Win7 to test this with...but I don't see why it wouldn't work!

You took a really backwards way to do this.

This seems much simpler:

Remap Key/Button > Key/button function: Media Keys > Select Volume Up/Down

Honestly, this never worked for me and still doesn't.

Maybe I'm plain stupid when it comes to this software (Roccat/Logitech software was easy to customize with this configuration).

Have you actually applied the setting you are talking about and set the System Volume as the targeted application?

Doesn't work for me. :mad:
