pugnplay Posted October 6, 2005 Share Posted October 6, 2005 hi, i'm putting together a system and have a few questions about memory. i will be using an Asus p5wd2 premium mobo and just got the corsair vs1gb533d2 modules. i don't have all the parts for the new system so i can't test these memory modules, corsair site says that they are compatible. are these modules supposed to have heat spreaders,? they didn't come with any. also, on the labels on the modules under the bar code there are numbers - one module has 877- 0534066-1 -239219 the other module has 877- 0534066-1 -239215 can these be used in dual channel mode? i only have 15 days in which i can return these modules, but i won't have the rest of the parts for the computer before then.
