SpeedyV
Is the FW update embedded in Corsair Link V4.9.5.25? Is there any info on firmware changes, fixed bugs, new features? Is it worth updating?
donalgodon
Is the FW update embedded in Corsair Link V4.9.5.25? Is there any info on firmware changes, fixed bugs, new features? Is it worth updating? I haven't seen it before updating to Corsair Link V4.9.5.25, and I have no real idea what it fixes, but I updated and it went smoothly. c-attack
That is quite a jump in version number. I see the update in Link, but I would like to see a changelog as well. Perhaps we have to wait for the reveal for a different reason.

c-attack
Hmm.... We are coming up on two weeks since release. Can we get a changelog guys?
SpeedyV
A little bird told me that this release is mainly in preparation for new hardware releases. 1B1C:1D04=SpecOmega Controller 1B1C:1D05=SpecOmega Loader 1B1C:1D06=Crystal 280X RGB Controller 1B1C:1D07=Crystal 280X RGB Loader 1B1C:1D08=Crystal 680X RGB Controller 1B1C:1D09=Crystal 680X RGB Loader 1B1C:1D0A=Crystal 570X RGB Controller 1B1C:1D0B=Crystal 570X RGB Loader
c-attack
Yeah, that had been my hope as well and thus the changelog was being deliberately delayed for the standard reasons. I was thinking two weeks was getting to be a bit too long to sit on it, but it is the most likely reason.
SpeedyV
I know that Brightness is still limited to 0%, 33%, 66%, or 100%. IIRC, Link only allows these levels anyway so perhaps it is not a priority to offer better granularity (like 1% increments). I believe the hardware is capable of this but it is just not implemented. It's frustrating because the control program I use is capable of controlling Brightness in 1% increments but alas, I can't do it due to this continued firmware limitation.
